Doctor Downing studied at UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated in 2005. He has lived on the Outer Banks since 1993 and graduated from Manteo High School in 1997. He currently lives in Kitty Hawk with His wife Janell and his three children- Will, Nora and Foster.
